In 2001, the Dutch government and parliament discussed and formulated public policies about the social responsiblity of Dutch companies, both in the Netherlands and abroad. This manifest focuses on responsible business conduct abroad. It conveys the views of dozens of civil society organisations and persons that are involved in sustainable development and compliance with human rights and labour rights.
